State-wise List of COVID-19 Movement E-Pass in India

India has been witnessing the largest nationwide lockdown to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Considering the growing rate of Coronavirus cases, India took quick action to close all the international borders and implement the lockdown. The preparedness and response to COVID-19 differ from state to state in India. While some states have relaxed the restrictions after the second phase of lockdown, the states like Maharashtra and Gujarat have strict travel bans due to the high rate of Coronavirus affected patients.
However, the central and state governments are aware of the fact that people do need to step out of their houses in case of medical or other emergencies. Hence, state governments have allowed movement with the help of an e-pass. But one has to make sure that there is a valid reason while applying for the e-pass.
The Indian Railway Ministry has started the passenger train service from 12th May. On the other hand, the public transport service has been hugely restricted, and different areas in every city are categorized as red, orange, and green zones. The e-pass service implemented by the Government is nothing but an indicator that only essential travel is allowed in India until there are no active COVID-19 cases in the country.
To collect an e-pass, travelers should apply for the same at the local administration or apply online through state government portals:
