HRTC: Bus Services from Keylong to Kargil

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) is set to achieve another milestone. HRTC has decided to start a bus service from Keylong in Lahaul Spiti to Kargil. The first trial of this bus was conducted on Thursday and it was successful. HRTC’s 37-seater bus HP 42-3164 departed Keylong at 6 am for the trial. The HRTC bus left in the morning, crossed the Shinkula Pass at an altitude of 16,580 feet above sea level, and reached Padam, a part of Kargil district, in the afternoon. Driver Manoj Kumar and conductor Ayush Thakur operated the bus during the trial.
