The month of Kartika is set to commence on the 14th of this month, and during this auspicious period, devotees in the Telugu states embark on pilgrimages to sacred destinations, with a particular focus on Shaiva Kshetras. In light of this, TSRTC (Telangana State Road Transport Corporation) has announced some uplifting news for these devotees.
TSRTC officials have revealed that they have organized special bus services to facilitate the journeys of devotees to holy places within the Telugu states. Specifically, buses have been arranged for pilgrims visiting Pancharama Kshetra in Amaravati, Draksharamam, Bhimavaram, Palakollu, and Samarlakota in Andhra Pradesh. These special bus services are scheduled to depart from Hyderabad every Sunday, the day prior to the full moon, at 5 pm.
Officials further detailed that upon completing their darshan, the pilgrims will return to the city by 12 noon on Tuesday. For these special bus services, ticket prices have been set at Rs. 4,000 for Rajdhani buses and Rs. 3,200 for super luxury buses. Additionally, an extra charge of Rs. 550 is applicable for darshan and accommodation. This initiative aims to provide devotees with a convenient and comfortable means of embarking on their sacred journeys during the holy month of Kartika.
