UPSRTC Launch More Buses from Noida to Ayodhya
Varanasi: The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation is poised to enhance the frequency of buses plying between Varanasi and Ayodhya. As per Gaurav Verma, the regional manager of UPSRTC, anticipating a potential surge in passenger demand following the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol at the Ram Janambhumi Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, initiatives have been initiated to arrange additional buses on this route. Previously, there were five buses operating on this route, but now the number has been increased to 50, ensuring the availability of general buses every half hour and AC buses every hour.

The Uttar Pradesh government plans to introduce electric buses on the Dharma Path and Ram Path in Ayodhya, anticipating a significant influx of tourists and pilgrims visiting the Ram Temple. Starting from January 15, a fleet of 100 electric buses will be operational. In addition to this, golf carts and e-rickshaws will be made available for added convenience in Ayodhya. The Uttar Pradesh CMO office mentioned, “Corridors have been constructed for operation, and additional parking spaces, both temporary and permanent, are being developed from the crucial Saket Petrol Pump to Lata Mangeshkar Chowk.”
