Great news for travelers! After a suspension of nine months, the bus service connecting Delhi to Leh via the scenic tourist destination Manali in Himachal Pradesh has resumed. Additionally, there is more good news for those planning to travel in government-operated AC Volvo buses. The Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has reduced the fares of Himdhara buses.
This development brings exciting benefits to the people of Himachal Pradesh and those traveling from Delhi to Shimla. The HRTC has implemented a 15% reduction in the fares of their government Volvo Himdhara buses. Passengers traveling from Shimla to Delhi in these AC buses will now only have to pay Rs 558 as fare, compared to the previous fare of Rs 704. Importantly, this fare reduction is not limited to the Shimla to Delhi route but extends to 29 different routes across Himachal Pradesh.
Furthermore, among the 29 routes, the fare reductions also apply to Chandigarh buses. The HRTC has released the fare and timetable for these routes, considering the convenience of passengers. This decision will provide relief to numerous passengers on a daily basis.
