On the return journey from Bengaluru to Chennai Shatabdi Express (12028), the departure from Bengaluru is scheduled for 6 am. The arrival at Jolarpettai is by 7.49 am. With a stoppage time of one minute, the train departs at 7.50 am. It reaches Chennai Central Station at 11.05 am.
