The Latest Feature of Kerala RTC / KSRTC Kerala
The latest KSRTC booking application enables users to reserve tickets even after the bus has left its starting point. In Kochi, passengers at intermediate stops can now reserve available seats on long-distance buses even after the bus has left its origin. According to officials, the KSRTC booking app, which offers this feature and others, has received a positive response.
Passengers now have multiple convenient options for booking tickets: they can reserve through the counter, use the app, or book directly from the conductor. Moreover, more buses will be accessible online when travelers are in search of tickets.
Previously, the standard practice was to close bookings half an hour prior to departure, and a printed list of bookings was handed to the conductor at the reservation counter. There was no way to determine the number of available seats. Passengers could only board if invited by the conductor. This resulted in significant revenue losses for KSRTC.
Now, tickets can be booked either through the https://onlineksrtcswift.com/ website or the Ente KSRTC Neo OPRS mobile app, effective from Monday onwards. Booking details will be promptly shared with customers via SMS and WhatsApp messages. Thanks to the automatic refund policy, there will be no delay in receiving refunds for canceled tickets as per the guidelines.
